Grievance Policy

Kingdom Child Care Connection at Umbrella strives to provide high quality service to the community. Our interactions with community members and co-workers are governed by our core values of Respect, Compassion, Commitment and Collaboration. We will give prompt attention to any concern, referring the individual to the appropriate staff member or Executive Director for direct resolution whenever possible. Individuals may request a formal review of a matter in person, by telephone, or in writing by contacting:

Confidentiality

All information specific to, and identifying of, individuals and families is presumed to be confidential and subject to those standards.  Employees shall not disclose the information unless a specific exception to the presumption applies or the disclosure is authorized by the client, court, or as otherwise authorized by law or rule.

The confidentiality of any information acquired by or provided to Umbrella, Inc. shall be maintained in compliance with any state or federal laws, or regulations.

 

Umbrella, Inc. agrees not to disclose the names of or information pertaining to any child referred to Umbrella, Inc by the State of Vermont, and agrees to adhere to the confidentiality requirements of 33 V.S.A. 306.  This shall not preclude Umbrella, Inc. from releasing the name of a child, or other relevant information, if necessary, for purposes directly connected with providing services to the child.
