They have served as the lead sponsor for our Stories Of events in October, held in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, where local storytellers courageously share their impactful experiences. Their sponsorship helps ensure that these stories are heard and the voices of survivors are amplified in our community.

In addition, Community National Bank is a major supporter of our annual Gala, helping to make this key fundraising event a success year after year.

Tim Scott has supported our work for years, serving as one of our very first corporate sponsors for both our Spring Gala and Stories Of events. His belief in our mission and willingness to step forward early and often helped lay the groundwork for the community support we are fortunate to have today.

Tim’s dedication to Umbrella goes beyond financial contributions. In one of the most significant moments in our organization’s history, Tim played an instrumental role in facilitating the sale and purchase of our current building that now serves as Umbrella’s permanent home in St. Johnsbury. With professionalism, generosity, and heart, he donated his time and expertise to ensure that we found a place that would allow us to grow, serve more people, and continue cultivating a Northeast Kingdom where all people thrive free from abuse and oppression.

We are also honored to have his wife, Alex MacLean, serving as President of our Board of Directors. She was instrumental during our capital campaign and continues to be a valuable leader in her role.

Donor Spotlight: Passumpsic Bank

At Umbrella, we are honored to celebrate our long-time partner, Passumpsic Bank. For many years, Passumpsic Bank has stood beside Umbrella — not only as our primary financial institution, but also as a generous supporter for our programs and events. From the very beginning, they have served as the lead sponsor of our Annual Spring Gala, helping us grow this signature event into a cornerstone of our community fundraising efforts.

Passumpsic Bank has consistently supported Domestic Violence Awareness Month and also stepped forward during our capital campaign, becoming one of our top donors. In recognition of their leadership and generosity, our community room is proudly named the Passumpsic Bank Community Room, a lasting tribute to the bank’s dedication to creating safe, supportive spaces.
